NAS elects nine distinguished scientists

Fellows of The Nigerian Academy of Science, at its Annual General Meeting held in Lagos on the 25th of January 2024, elected nine (9) distinguished scientists into the NAS Fellowship. The elected scientists are: –

  1. Professor Rufus Akinyemi
  2. Professor Temidayo Ogundiran
  3. Professor Zubairu Iliyasu
  4. Professor James Olopade
  5. Professor Olapeju Aiyelaagbe (Female)
  6. Professor Fabian Ezema
  7. Professor Nnabuk Okon Eddy
  8. Professor Etinosa Igbinosa
  9. Professor Akeem Babatunde Rabiu

They will be inducted as Fellows of the Academy later in the year.
