THE NIGERIAN ACADEMY OF SCIENCE ELECTS DISTINGUISHED SCIENTISTS AS FELLOWS

The Nigerian Academy of Science, at its Annual General Meeting held in Lagos on Thursday, 6^th of February, 2020 has elected 10 scientists as Fellows. They are:

1.       Professor Babatunde Lawal Salako – Nephrology

2.      Professor Obinna Onwujekwe – Pharmaco-economics/Pharmaco epidemiology

3.       Dr. Ogbonnaya Onu – Chemical Engineering

4.       Professor Babafemi Olapoju Taiwo – Medicine

5.       Professor Lawrence Ikechukwu Ezemonye – Ecotoxicology & environmental forensics

6.       Professor Ibrahim Garba – Geology

7.       Professor Grace Olusola Gbotosho – Pharmacology

8.       Professor Adenike Temidayo Oladiji – Biochemistry (Nutrition)

9.       Professor Augustine Anyaegbunam Ubachukwu – Astrophysics

10.     Professor Lateef Oladimeji Sanni – Food Science & Technology

They will be inducted as Fellows of the Nigerian Academy of Science at a ceremony to be held in May, 2020 in Abuja.
