Professor Oyewale Tomori, FAS (NAS 17th President) gave an account of his stewardship

The Academy’s immediate Past President, Professor Oyewale Tomori, FAS (NAS 17th President) gave an account of his stewardship in his welcome address at the recently held AGM in Lagos.

He said Fellows gave him the chance, the opportunity, and the privilege to serve as the President of our distinguished Academy on January 26, 2013 (4years ago). He stated that it was a great honour he will always cherish, and will always remember the comradeship, the companionship, the friendly and conducive atmosphere under which he had spent the last four years.

He thanked all Fellows for the support they gave; for the stupendous, awesome, astounding and astonishing chance Fellows gave him to serve. He said “I am the more richer and blessed by the reverence and esteem you have accorded me these past four years.
