NAS holds 3rd Ambassadorial Lecture

In pursuit of her strategic goals of increasing the Academy’s visibility, the Nigerian Academy of Science, in partnership with Usmanu Danfodiyo University Sokoto (UDU), held her 3rd NAS Ambassadorial Lecture on Monday, 7th of August, 2023 at the University’s main campus auditorium. The lecture titled, ‘Understanding and dealing with the forces at work in the Nigerian Petroleum Exploration and Production Sector’, was delivered by Professor Mosto Kalu Onuoha FAS, the immediate Past President of the Academy.
The Special Guest of Honour was the Academy’s President, Professor Ekanem Braide FAS, while the Chairman of the occasion was Professor Kaoje Abubakar FAS (former Minister of Science & Technology). Also in attendance was the Academy’s Vice President, Professor Abubakar Sambo FAS, the Vice Chancellor of UDU, Professor Lawan Suleiman Bilbis, lecturers, and students of the University, the media, and the general public.
