NAS Consensus Study: Legalization of Cannabis Oil Use in Nigeria

The Nigerian Academy of Science (NAS) constituted a consensus study committee to explore the potential benefits and risks of legalizing the use of cannabis oil, for therapeutic purposes, in Nigeria. Specifically, the study will analyze global evidence on the therapeutic uses of cannabis oil, current legal aspects and regulatory frameworks, examine the potential risks and concerns associated with its use, and provide evidence-based recommendations to inform policy decisions in Nigeria.
