11th Annual Conference and General Assembly of the NYA

The 11th Annual Conference and General Assembly of the Nigerian Young Academy (NYA) was held in Abuja on Tuesday, 24^th of August, 2021.The Vice President of the Nigerian Academy of Science (NAS), Professor Abubakar Sambo FAS, delivered the keynote address titled, ‘Linking Academic Research, Industry, and Policy Engagement amidst COVID-19 Pandemic’. The President of the Nigerian Academy of Science, Professor Ekanem Braide FAS was also at the event to deliver a goodwill message on behalf of NAS. At the event, she also swore in the newly inducted members of the NYA.
