Investiture of the Academy’s 20th President
Professor Emeritus Abubakar Sani Sambo, FAS was installed the 20th President of the Nigerian Academy of Science on Thursday, 23rd of January, 2025 in Abuja. He took over from Professor Ekanem Braide, FAS. Professor Sambo is a Professor of Mechanical Engineering,. He is also former Director General of the Energy Commission of Nigeria (ECN) as well as a former Vice-Chancellor.
